National is running high in the poles and need to stay that way if their leader John Key's is going to put MMP to a public referendum if elected to power. Because anything less than a clear majority will mean they will need a coalition partner and therefore MMP to stay in power. That likely coalition partner is likely to be the Maori Party. Which means they will have a big problem with another promise to remove the Maori seats if elected. It is good they have finally come out and told us that they will give us a tax cut of around $50 on the average wage of $50,000. That means if your on $20,000 or less 47% of NZ tax payers you may get maybe $20. $30,000 which equates to 59% of NZ tax payers $30 and so on. For most New Zealand the tax cut's will not even keep up with resent inflation fuel and consumer costs. It only benefits the so called rich. For the tax payers on less than $50,000 it will make no difference if they are under National or Labours tax cut policy's. What both National and Labour need to tell the public, is where these tax cuts are coming from. Social services or our money invested in the Government super scheme.
